Turkeys
1,000 Thanksgiving turkeys still needed
Right now, we need turkeys to help our homeless neighbors and families this Thanksgiving. Requests have increased dramatically this year and 1,000 turkeys are still needed before Thanksgiving. The Mission expects to serve nearly 1,000 meals to men, women, and children through their long-term recovery programs, emergency shelters, and our Search+ Rescue efforts. Additional turkeys and food boxes have been and will be delivered to families in need and local churches who reach out to the Mission for help.
Please donate 15-20 lb. frozen turkeys.

“The need is greater than it’s ever been,” said Norm Hummel, director of food service for the Mission. “We are extremely blessed to live in city that loves and cares for our homeless neighbors and those who are hurting. Some families will be reunited for the first time in years this Thanksgiving through our life-changing recovery programs,” he said.
